Choose your gaming platform. There are many different game systems that can be installed in your arcade machine. Some systems come with 60 games, others can have up to 30,000+ games installed inside and ready to play. All machines will come with your staple arcade classics that include such titles as donkey kong, pacman, dig dug, galaga, burger time, frogger etc. If there is a particular game that you need added, feel free to inquire about it.

If you want a more cost effective way to play your classic games, try a pandora’s box gaming system. These consoles can be hooked up directly to your TV and can be played from your lap. These systems can vary in price depending not just on quality, but on game count.
When shopping for a multi-game arcade machine, there are two types to look for. There are PCB (printed circuit board) and there are computer driven systems. Both have their pros and cons. PCB driven arcade machines tend to be easier to use, have less bugs and need less maintenance but they also allow for less customization and come with smaller game counts. Computer driven systems can be configured to the user’s tastes, for example , more power can be added for newer games and larger hard drives can allow for larger game counts. Computer builds will have more of a learning curve, to figure out which buttons control which actions. These types of systems are more prone to bugs and glitches, so these types not ideal for those without a bit of patience.

Overall, if your arcade is only for personal use then a computer driven system will give you more possibilities which can enhance your gaming experience. If you will be entertaining company or have chilren that will be using your arcade then a PCB might be the best route, as these types of systems will have a shorter learning curve, are more resistant to game glitches and configuration errors, and generally just simplify the gaming experience.
