Custom 1up arcade machines are converted arcade machines, on a smaller scale. Arcade 1up machines are designs for home use, and do not come with commercial grade parts the way full sized classic arcade machines do. These machines are 3/4 scale and measure 45″ in height x 23″ in depth x 19″ in width. After they are converted to multicade machines, they weigh about 67 lbs..

These arcades don’t need a special ruck or van to be transported, they can fit into most standard sized cars. Arcade 1up machines can have all of the same games and hardware installed into them the way a full size unit can, with the exception of large PC’s and subwoofers.
A standard arcade 1up conversion consists of about 60 games if it has a vertical play screen such as centipede, asteroids, or galaga. If the screen is a 4:3 model (square playfield) then there are more options. Game PCB’s can be installed which allow 500 to 3000 games to be built inside a unit. If more than 3k games are desired, a computer will have to be installed into the arcade. Installing a computer into a 1up arcade machine can be more time consuming, and require more hardware which is why this method is a bit more costly. Arcade 1up conversions that use horizontal screens come with the usual classic video games installed inside,
Pacman, Dig Dug, Donkey Kong, Galaga, Ms Pacman, Zaxxon, The Simpsons, Ninja Turtles, NBA Jam, Super Mario Bros, Street Fighters, Tekken, Metal Slugs, Frogger, Mortal Kombat, Sprint, X-men, Sonic, Altered Beast, Outrun, King of Fighters, 1942, Tempest, Bad Dudes, Contra, Bubble Bobble, Double Dragon, Golden Axe, Sunset Riders, Megaman, Space Harrier, Mr Do, Xevious, Mappy, Gauntlet, Renegade, Ikari Warriors, Qbert, Jungle Hunt, Robocop, etc etc..
If you upgrade a 1up to a computer system the game count increases significantly. You then have the option of running console systems as well as the arcade classic, such as;
Nintendo, Atari, Sega, N64, Intellivision, Playstation 1 2 and 3, Gamecube, Wii, Super Nintendo, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, Playstation Portable, Xbox, Colecovision, Gameboy Color, Neo Geo, Turbo Graphix 16, PC Games, Xbox 360, Dreamcast, Sega Saturn, Genesis, etc etc..
Not all arcade 1ups can be modded to run these systems. Type of system and size of unit will play a role in determining what systems can be installed and played.
If you need a manual for instructions on how to use these custom 1up machines, please let us know. They don’t typically come with them as there will be different controls per unit.. depending on the hardware layout of the arcade machine. But we dont have prints for the button layouts.
